A Growing Church for Growing Christians

New Video System

Three video cameras have been installed in the St. Luke sanctuary, along with a feed to a ceiling-mounted video projector, pull-down screen and sound system located in the conference room. The system can be used to remotely view live services or special events held in the sanctuary, and in the near future will be incorporated into the Church’s website for streaming live Sunday worship service’s and recording the sermons on DVD. The sound system includes a DVD player for viewing recorded movies.

With the knowledge that money is budgeted for more advanced video equipment in the building project, the objective was to install a system that would be low in cost,  but that would give us many of the same capabilities of the "professional" system and one we can use immediately instead of waiting for the building project to commence. Once it does, we can use this equipment either as security cameras (which is what they really are) and/or for video taping plays and events outside of the sanctuary.
